On the eve of season 2019, local rivals Swinburne University have unfortunately made the tough decision to pull out of Division 3, as they’re not confident they can field two teams for the year. They will instead take part in the VAFA’s Thirds competition, where only one team is required.

This means that Canterbury will have byes for our scheduled games in Round 4 (May 4th) & Round 17 (August 17th).

Canterbury FC wishes Swinburne all the best for the future, and we hope to see them playing division foot again soon.
