In the 2026 season CFC held their club's first Tackle Your Feelings session.

The program gives players and club leaders practical tools to better understand, recognise and respond to mental health concerns.
The session was a valuable step in strengthening how we approach wellbeing across the club, creating more open conversations and giving our people greater confidence to support one another.
We will continue using Tackle Your Feelings resources and support as we build a stronger, more proactive mental health and wellbeing framework at Canterbury.

CFC TYF Wellbeing Values
During the 2026/27 off-season, Canterbury FC’s Mental Health & Wellbeing Committee is working alongside players and club members to identify, discuss and develop the club’s wellbeing values.
This collaborative process will help create greater consistency and direction around mental health and wellbeing across the club, while ensuring future strategies are practical, effective and continue to evolve with the needs of our members.
