Canterbury FC's women's program represents the exciting future of our historic club. Since entering the VAFA women's competition in 2017, we've grown from a single team to multiple squads, including a reserves premiership in 2019. Our program welcomes players of all experience levels, from seasoned footballers to those picking up a footy for the first time. With dedicated coaching and a supportive team environment, we're building on Canterbury's progressive tradition while creating new chapters in our club's remarkable story.
Growth
Since joining the VAFA women's competition in its inaugural 2017 season, Canterbury FC's women's program has grown from strength to strength. What began as a single team has expanded to accommodate the tremendous growth in women's football, with our reserves side capturing a premiership in just our third season.
Inclusive
Our women's program embodies the inclusive and progressive spirit that has defined Canterbury FC throughout its history. Our coaches provide specialized development tailored to players of all experience levels, from those who have played for years to those picking up a football for the first time.
Development
With a focus on skill development, game awareness, and teamwork, our training environment encourages continuous improvement while fostering lasting friendships. The women's program represents Canterbury FC's commitment to growing our great game and providing equal opportunities for all community members.
