As many would know, Boroondara Council have committed to redeveloping the facilities at the Snake Pit which we welcome. While we’re certainly appreciative of the funds Council have put forward, based on initial plans there are still some needs of the tenant clubs that are not met and unfortunately don’t fit within the allocated budget. It’s for this reason we’re seeking to increase the overall budget of the project and get all works completed together.

Additional works we’d like to add to the current plans are:

Elevating the social rooms to improve spectator viewing and to prevent flooding
Increasing the size of the social rooms to ensure all members can attend functions
Ensuring CSG is a welcoming space for everyone in the community
